Lunder from the air, the towered building at its centre

The place

September, seen from above

A view from the air shows something you cannot see from the ground: how little of this hill is building, and how much is still garden, vineyard and trees.

8 September 2026

Arriving at the gate, what you see is the building: the white facade, the tower in the middle, the stone steps. It is the view that stands for us, and it is the most incomplete view of this place there is.

From above the proportion changes. The building takes one corner. The rest, twenty thousand square metres, is courtyard, garden, paths under trees, terrace and playground. Behind that the hill begins, carrying two hundred thousand square metres of vines.

The solar roof and the yard seen from above

The panels on the roof

From the air you also see something nobody notices from the ground: the whole south face of the roof is covered in solar panels. A farm running chillers for milk and a kitchen working every day needs electricity; a good share of ours comes off the roof.

And the mountain

Behind it all is Dajti, nine and a half kilometres away. The rooms facing east look at it all day; in September, when the air clears after the heat, it looks close enough to walk to.

Welcome
