Nari Lundër, in photographs.
228 photographs in 9 categories: the place, the halls, the kitchen, the rooms, the courtyard, the farm, reception, events and the people.
How to read it
Nine categories, one place.
These photographs come from three sources: the restaurant’s old archive, our own Instagram, and the professional set we use on the booking channels. None of them is generated, and none of them shows anything you will not find in front of you when you arrive.
Pick a category from the row below to see it on its own, or click a photograph to open it large. The ‹ and › keys move from one to the next.
The place
The place
The building, the courtyard and the hills of Lundrës, from the ground and from the air. The tower in the middle of the roof is the one the house mark is drawn from.
The halls and the tables
The halls and the tables
Two thousand square metres indoors, with 130 tables. These are the rooms as they are laid for lunch, before anybody arrives.
The kitchen and the plates
The kitchen and the plates
What comes off the fire, out of the wood oven and down from the dairy. The menu moves with the season, so some of these plates appear only in certain months.
The rooms and bathrooms
The rooms and bathrooms
Eleven rooms above the courtyard, in six types. All of them with stone walls, wooden floors and a view of the hills.
Courtyard, terrace and playground
Courtyard, terrace and playground
Twenty thousand square metres of green: the shaded terrace, the vine-covered pergola, the paths under the trees and the playground.
The farm and the vineyards
The farm and the vineyards
A kilometre and a half from the restaurant: the alpine goats, the dairy, the poultry and two hundred thousand square metres of vines on the eastern hill.
Reception and the paintings
Reception and the paintings
The front desk, the lounges and the corridors. The works on the walls are by Albanian painters, collected by the family over the years.
Events and fairs
Events and fairs
Weddings, christenings and family celebrations indoors and out, and our stand at the agricultural fair on Skanderbeg Square.
The people
The people
The cooks, the waiters and the baker. Most have worked here for years; some since the restaurant had only a handful of tables.
